WR POSITION STATEMENTS

Washington REALTORS® is respected in Olympia for policy positions on issues that affect the real estate transaction, the cost and supply of housing, and land development.

Above is a document that summarizes those positions, a result of hours of analysis by our members on three Special Committees (Consumer and Business Affairs, Tax & Fiscal, and Land Use & Environment), a review by our Legislative Steering Committee and final approval by our Board of Directors.  With these positions, we remain vigilant to prevent legislation that could harm our members and to support legislation that can help.
