David Azose Appointed to WA State RE Commission
David Azose, president of Morris Piha Real Estate Services in Bellevue, has been appointed by Gov. Gregoire to the Washington State Real Estate Commission on the recommendation of the Washington Association of REALTORS®. His term began on Feb. 16, 2011 and continues until August 14, 2014. The appointment fills a vacancy left by the loss of REALTOR® and Commissioner Dan Murphy.
"Congratulations on your appointment," the Governor wrote David. "Thank you for your willingness to join me in serving the citizens of Washington. We need people like you, who are willing to give of their time and abilities to our state."
After an interview and review of application by Washington REALTORS® Nominations Committee and approval of the Executive Committee, Washington REALTOR® President Phil Harlan expressed the association’s recommendation as well as confidence in Mr. Azose in a letter to the Governor.
"The Association recommends: David Azose, Bellevue. David is an outstanding example of REALTORS® who possesses unequaled dedication to the real estate industry, as well as the integrity and work ethic to perform admirably in this position of public trust."
David has been involved in the real estate industry since 1977, having worked in all aspects of commercial real estate. David has supervised all property management operations for Morris Piha Real Estate Services, which currently manages properties with a cumulative value of over two hundred fifty million dollars ($250,000,000).
Mr. Azose is a member of the Seattle-King County Association of REALTORS®, Washington REALTORS®, Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® (WSCAR), Apartments Owners Association, Commercial Broker Association (CBA). He has served as the President of WSCAR, on the Washington REALTORS® Executive Committee and the CBA Board of Directors. He has also been honored in the Puget Sound Business Journal for "Who's Who in Commercial Real Estate".

"It is a great honor to be appointed to the Commission and I take the responsibility and the trust of the real estate community very seriously."
Mr. Azose graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Natural Sciences and Education. He holds a Washington State Real Estate Broker's License and has completed all of the course work for the CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation.
David has been married for forty years to his wife Terry and has three married children. He also brags six grandchildren all of whom are age three years and under… with a seventh coming in August!
