Annie Fitzsimmons Head Shot

Real estate brokers are held to the standard of care of a lawyer when preparing and using real estate forms to create contracts between buyers and sellers. Have you been to law school?  Probably not … yet you are expected to draft and use purchase agreements with the same expertise as a lawyer.  Complicating that task, you have over a hundred forms at your disposal through the statewide forms system and you must be able to navigate the forms and know which form to use when and how one form impacts another.

The first day of this 2-day class will teach fundamentals related to the most commonly used statewide residential forms.  The second day will teach drafting skills and how to use the forms as a system, to accomplish your client's unique goals. Annie Fitzsimmons, the Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline lawyer and one of the lawyers on the statewide forms task force, teaches this course. You can register for either day (7.5 CE) or for both days (15 CE) for a reduced rate and a brain full of information that will help you be a better real estate broker.
