REFORM CONDOMINIUM LIABILITY LAW

Clarifies the statutory warranty provisions for new condominium and condominium conversion projects. The proposed reforms create more objective standards for construction defect claims.

Allows cities or counties planning under the Growth Management Act to create short subdivisions of up to 30 lots within Urban Growth Areas — consistent with Ecology’s State Environmental Policy Act regulations. This will promote affordable infill development projects.
