Housing market statistics as featured in the Autumn Issue of RE Magazine. Provided by Steven O'Connor, Director of Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington:

1,869  - Number of completed foreclosures in Washington during 2nd quarter;  58.9% fewer than the same quarter last year.

-  Washington All-Buyer Housing Affordability Index in 2nd quarter; 9.1 point decline from 1st  quarter.

- Total Housing Units permitted in Washington for Q2 2014.

20.9%, 45.7% and 33.4% - Breakdown of sales by 2 or less bedrooms, 3 bedrooms and 4 or more bedrooms.

-7.5% - Decrease in number of homes sold in 2nd quarter 2014 compared to a year earlier.

7.9% - Increase in median home price in Washington 2013:Q2-2014:Q2.

$270,900 - Median price resale home in Washington in 2nd quarter.

31,699 - Homes listed for sale on MLSs in Washington at of end of 2nd quarter; 0.2% less than a year ago.

- Number of Washington counties with 1st time buyer affordability index below 80.

86,690 - Number of Washington homes sold in 2nd quarter 2014 at seasonally adjusted annual rates.

81.0 - First-time home buyers Affordability Index in 2nd quarter.  Down from 85.7 in previous quarter.  San Juan has a low of 47.8.  Lincoln has a high of 142.8.
