Remembering Laura Bird
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we regret to inform you NPSAR’s 2023 President, Laura Bird, passed away in the evening of October 4th, after her extremely hard-fought battle with cancer.Laura was “one of a kind”, and her presence and ability to light up any room she walked into will be deeply missed by our REALTOR® family. She was ambitious, fierce, hilarious, and a little inappropriate (at times), but that’s why we loved her. She truly was likely no other.
During this difficult time, please keep Laura's son, Shane, family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Let us come together and show the true value of the REALTOR® family in supporting each other during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Laura. No more pain.

Date: Friday, October 27th, 2023Location: Swinomish Casino and Lodge ,12885 Casino Drive, Anacortes, WA 98221
Time: 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Laura Bird Memorial Fund:
The NPSAR Board of Directors have coordinated a "Laura Bird Memorial Fund" in Laura's honor. Funds raised will be donated to local Skagit and Island County high schools' music booster club programs in order for them to buy new music instruments for their students. Laura's son, Shane, is a talented musician, and Laura was a music lover herself.If you wish to contribute to the Laura Bird Memorial Fund, please make checks payable to NPSAR at the address below.
