Eric Johnson

What was said about Eric:

Eric was our President of the Association in 2021. He somehow managed to work that while leading on the Executive team at Washington REALTORS® and running a particularly important Presidents Advisory Group on Washington State Agency Law. His family has had ownership in the extraordinarily successful Coldwell Banker Tomlinson Brokerage in Spokane where he served as the Designated Broker Managing 90+ agents. Eric currently serves as the Director of Training for the company. His move here also moved him to start teaching for the Association a few years ago and his classes have become quite popular with REALTORS® students around the region.

The hardest part of Eric’s Presidential year was helping with the retirement of the longest serving Association Executive in Washington. Hiring a consulting firm to help us with the transition, Eric led the team to successfully honor the outgoing while ensuring we found a stupendous replacement, which was a tough transition that he handled beautifully for staff, members, and the community.

Eric has been active in local and state Government Affairs for years and continues as a Major Investor and our valued Key Contacts for a State Representative Marcus Riccelli. Eric’s Degree in Business from WSU has given him the skills to balance a remarkably busy career while serving in many aspects of leadership. His role as a Board of Director for the National Association of REALTORS® had him participating in some of the Associations biggest votes in years.

Eric has also been incredibly involved in his community serving on the Spokane County Parks Advisory Commission and Spokane Rotary North as a member. His understanding of the challenges facing our industry has given the Association an advocate and educator in how we can advance toward the future of Real Estate and lead the industry in technology and member satisfaction for the state. His commitment to making all our REALTORS more professional through his service at the Associations and in leaderships have made him the natural choice for REALTOR® of the Year for Spokane.
