NEW! WR is Launching a Consumer Agency Law Campaign

WR CEO Nathan Gorton and WR Communications Committee Chair Lori Sinclair introduce Washington REALTORS®' new Agency Law Consumer Outreach Campaign in the latest DBrief episode. WR has provided extensive education for real estate practitioners about the Agency Law changes effective January 1st. However, a common request from members is for WR to help educate consumers about these changes. This campaign aims to alleviate some of the pressure on brokers in the field and provide them with talking points for their conversations with consumers.

Keep an eye out for a TV spot, a social media version of the TV spot, a consumer website featuring FAQs and a REALTOR® office directory, and other resources to assist you in communicating these changes (and your value) to consumers. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!

Housing and Land Use Bills

For REALTORS® and Local REALTOR® Associations – successful local implementation of new state legislation and GMA Comprehensive Plan updates will require local involvement by REALTORS® and our homeownership and housing supply allies to advocate for increased housing supply at the local level.
