Celebrating WR Leaders During Women's History Month

Women's History Month is about commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history, including our own REALTOR® history! Washington REALTORS® have been electing Presidents for our organization since 1935. However, it wasn't until 1985 that the first woman President Melva Mabry was elected to office. Since then, we've been fortunate to have a slate of strong WR women leaders providing representation and encouragement for future REALTOR® leaders!
